Special birthday edition of Motion tonight for Royal Marinelli from monthly hosts ROUX Soundsystem…..and to celebrate in proper fashion they’ve invited Jordan Peak to headline the night. With his releases on the Tsuba/Robsoul/Saved/One record labels the story will be clearly unfolding on the dancefloor…get there early! No guestlist, and these nights pack up.
Les membres de l’organisation qui constituent le ROUX Soundsystem aiment célébrer. Toutes sortes de choses. Et parmi ces choses, la naissance d’un prodige roux est une des meilleures raisons de faire le party sauvagement et de casser la voix.
Le Motion de mars sera donc …spécial à plusieurs égards. On fait la bascule au Royal, on célèbre la vie et toutes ses beautés si complexes, et on se paie la visite de Jordan Peak.
Peak est un jeune loup british qui a grandi en se roulant dans la collection de vinyles de son père DJ, et ses berceuses étaient composées par Kerri Chandler et Lil’ Louie. Une éducation riche en hi-hats qui a provoqué chez lui un amour et un respect immense pour la house, comme en témoignent les huit pistes-hommage de ses deux EPs “Club Cuts” sortis récemment sur Robsoul. Il est aussi bon DJ que producteur, alors il risque de faire chaud au Salon!
Prédictions maison: Marinelli qui oublie son nom, une perte totale du compte de drinks ingérés, un orgasme musical de cinq heures, et des souvenirs vagues d’une soirée inoubliable.

They are playing this Saturday at Montreal’s temple of house music – Stereo Afterhours – as an opening set for Portugal’s DJ Vibe. The DJ Vibe nights at Stereo are known to be legendary and he brings the Portuguese way of life over to Montreal (apparently its common for them to party all night and go to work direct the next day).

Nature of Music have played alongside deep house acts such as Tigerskin, Anja Schneider, Nima Gorji, Dirt Crew, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Eddie Richards, Paul Ritch and recently, Vincenzo. They have also partied to many of the Fizz Factory nights and share a similar vision of what ‘groove’ should be.
Ce mois-ci on vous présente nos potes de Toronto Kian et Mazi. Ensemble ils forment le duo choc Nature of Music.
Très actifs dans la ville du Temple de la renommée du hockey, ils présentent mensuellement des artistes tels Tigerskin, Anja Schneider, Nima Gorji, Dirt Crew, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Eddie Richards, Paul Ritch et tout récemment, Vincenzo.
