Tazz album launch live part 1 of 2

Tonight deep house dj and producer Tazz is playing the Sunday Beat Boutique at Salon Daomé alongside host Max Reynolds. Tazz just launched an album on Tsuba Records to complement his releases on Underground Quality, Tsuba Limited and New Kanada. He is getting recognition near and far with his sounds so have a listen and appreciate fine local talent making a very good impression on the international level.
Tazz fait jaser à l’international et met une fois de plus Montréal sur la carte.
Après ses premiers 12? sur Underground Quality, Tsuba Limited et New Kanada, Tazz lance à Beat Boutique son premier album Adventures of Tazz, qui sort chez Tsuba à la fin du mois.

Tonight at Daomé the Fizz Factory crew invites Toronto’s Kian & Mazi who make up Nature of Music. Get ready for a pan-Canadian adventure on this one! Nature of Music have played alongside deep house acts such as Tigerskin, Anja Schneider, Nima Gorji, Dirt Crew, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Eddie Richards, Paul Ritch and recently, Vincenzo. They have also partied to many of the Fizz Factory nights and share a similar vision of what ‘groove’ should be.
Ce mois-ci on vous présente nos potes de Toronto Kian et Mazi. Ensemble ils forment le duo choc Nature of Music.
Très actifs dans la ville du Temple de la renommée du hockey, ils présentent mensuellement des artistes tels Tigerskin, Anja Schneider, Nima Gorji, Dirt Crew, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Eddie Richards, Paul Ritch et tout récemment, Vincenzo. Plusieurs d’entre eux sont aussi venus à Fizz Factory ou Beat Boutique depuis les dernières années.
On partage avec eux une vision similaire du groove, c’est donc un excellent match qui nous attend le 9 mars!

Bio: In a dark stable located somewhere between genius and insanity lies the Bad Pony. This two year old creature dishes out top tier electronic music with utmost groove and balls, exactly what you would expect from Tone Depth and his double-decade worth of experience. Mix that with co-founder Greg Pidcock’s youthful fervor and design prowess and you have a recipe for domination. Spawned in Montreal, the Pony aims to populate the DJ set’s and record bags of today’s jockey with it’s fierce kicks and roaring ambitions. Although the Chinese have claimed it is that of a dragon, 2012 is surely the year of the Pony.

ROUX Soundsystem is formed of redbeards Clifford Brown and Marinelli, whose common love for house tech and good company naturally brought them together. This dynamic tag-team is not to be missed at Salon Daomé’s Motion monthly.
Over the past year they have played at all of Montreal’s illegal afterparties, consumed an extraordinary amount of vodka/guru, and inspired thousands of people to dance – all without much sleep! These incorrigible guys from back East weave ethnic influences into their tech and are crusading to make “Groove” their legal family name.

Tout est relatif: nous, on trouve ça long entre deux éditions. Mais on a quand même le temps de se ressourcer, d’écouter chanter les oiseaux, de dormir des nuits complètes, de manger de copieux repas, de faire l’amour plusieurs fois, et d’accumuler les nouvelles bombes musicales qu’on vous fera jouer!
Pour célébrer le mois le plus court de l’année, on a décidé de faire une édition spéciale Cooooooobraaa, pour célébrer une carrière criminelle éclatante et unique. Ce que ça signifie? Surprise!
