Sebastian Davidson, Ozen, Andres Velilla live part 3 of 3

March 27th, 2013

originally played live on audioboxlive.com March 22nd, 2012

NoiseFloor with the collaboration of Om Sounds Life Project is proud to bring yet another international DJ to the home of house!
SEBASTIAN DAVIDSON hails from the Netherlands where he is gaining notoriety for both his productions and his Dj sets.

Sebastian Davidson has been DJing since 1995 and fervently began to produce his own material in 2006. Tracks as ‘Nightbird’ and ‘Sunday Morning’ have become small classics and are played out by a wide range of top-jocks. He released over 50 tracks on labels such as Night Drive Music, I Records, Loco Records, Kinky Vinyl, Noir Music, Deepology, Kolour and Dark Energy.
Davidson is now gearing up to release his first album in 2011 and is working on a fresh mix compilation of Kinky Vinyl Classics for Seamless Records. He is also busy running his own record label Nightbird Music, releasing respected artists from the (deep) house scene. Find his music here: www.sebastiandavidson.com/#home
For this special event our resident ANDRES VELILLA will be playing with OZEN from OM SOUNDS LIFE PROJECT.

ROUX Soundsystem live at salon daome part 1 of 3

March 27th, 2013

originally played live via audioboxlive.com on February 18th, 2012

ROUX Soundsystem took over the decks at Daomé last Saturday night for their monthly stormer Motion. With the club jam packed they got into cruise control early around 11:30 and kept people jumping until the end. They played the Prince Club (fellow Montrealers!) Whitney Houston hommage so be sure to find that track in this set. Listen again here and big thanks to Marinelli and Clifford for their peformance and selection. IMHO these guy sound like a cross between Cevin Fisher and Riva Starr….this live set carries that energy well!

ROUX Soundsystem is formed of redbeards Clifford Brown and Marinelli, whose common love for house tech and good company naturally brought them together. This dynamic tag-team is not to be missed at Salon Daomé’s Motion monthly.

Over the past year they have played at all of Montreal’s illegal afterparties, consumed an extraordinary amount of vodka/guru, and inspired thousands of people to dance – all without much sleep! These incorrigible guys from back East weave ethnic influences into their tech and are crusading to make “Groove” their legal family name.
