Dug a little deeper this month and got a couple of tracks on vinyl from Discogs as they were nowhere else to be found. One of them is a pure gem from 1996 – Wamdue Project – In Love With You and the other is just released on Love Fever, E by Ron Jason and Kim Ann Foxman. You might actually hear the static from the needle on the recording, nevertheless the grooves are all there! The rest of the mix is represented very well with 3 tracks from Seven Music’s ADE 2013 EP as well as deep house gems by Daniel Steinberg, Raffa FL, The Veterans, Maceo Plex and Maars, Full Intention, Ejeca, Deetron, and Andre Walter.

Le zoo urbain ferme momentanément ses portes mais se manifestera sur une base plus épisodique en 2014 pour marquer les activités du label. 6 ans de rebondissements en tout genre dans un mélange de styles et d’émotions. Une griffe musicale qui va se perpétuer sous une nouvelle bannière à partir de janvier. En guise de remerciement, nous sommes ravis de vous accueillir ce vendredi dans le discobole avec les fleurons du groove Nathan Burns et Soundshaper.
The urban zoo closes momentarily its doors but will resurface on a more episodic basis to highlight the label’s activities. 6 years of relentless bouncing in a mix of styles and heady emotions. A musical imprint that will translate into a new form as of January.
